Hi, welcome to my site!

In case you don't know me: The guy on the picture to the left...you guessed it, that's me. You can see me doing what I do most of the time (if I am not taking pictures): reading. In the time that is left I write my master thesis and try to travel as much as possible.

In case you do know me, it is likely that you came here because I told you about a trip I have done lately. If you can't find what you are looking for, it might be worth to check the site of my favorite travel companion (now at SmugMug) or come back a little later. It will take some time to upload my older stuff.

Farm north of Woodstock.

Second visit to the Strahov Monastery Library. With tripod, but without luck. A "No Photography" sign placed very unfortunately in the Philosophical Hall and a guided tour entering the Theological Hall after 6 shots. If you know the right people you can still enter the library...

The library of the Klementinum, built by the Jesuits at the beginning of the 18th century. This is Baroque architecture in its most beautiful form. In my opinion the most underrated sight of Prague.

Quechee Gorge, a favorite bus stop and photographed a thousand of times, but very beautiful anyway.

The goal of our first walk on the Isle of Skye, the Old Man of Storr and the Storr itself, the highest point of the Trotternish Ridge with amazing panoramic views.

The Dancing House (a.k.a. Ginger & Fred). Finished in 1996 it was designed by Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunic.

Dreamy Jewish cemetery. The only place managed by the Jewish Museum where photography is allowed (after paying a little extra). I liked the Spanish Synagogue even more. Nice atmosphere and Alhambra like interior.

Festival City, my favorite shopping mall in Dubai. This is the central stairway.

The National Museum, Neo-Renaissance from 1891. The exposition is not quite on par with the National Museums of other European capitals but the building itself is definitively worth a visit. Number two on my list of most underrated sights of Prague.
